INTERVIEW with Stevie Hearl || Miss World Australia National Finalist 2024

SD: Hi Stevie. Can you introduce yourself to my readers who don’t know you yet?
SH: Hi my name is Stevie Hearl and I'm a National finalist for Miss world Australia 2024 and Top Model Australia 2024. I'm a proud Indigenous woman from Adelaide, South Australia. I currently work in a Catholic primary school as an Education Support Officer, and I absolutely love my position supporting children through their schooling. Although my ultimate dream is to work as a professional model in the near future.
SD: You were a Miss World Australia Preliminary Finalist 2024. Can you tell us more about it?
SH: Miss World Australia is a national beauty pageant that represents the moto 'Beauty with a purpose". I have just been chosen to be put through the Preliminary finals into the National finals.
SD: How did you become interested in pageants?
SH: I have always been passionate about beauty, fashion, and self-expression I also have a strong desire to make a positive impact in the world and use my platform to raise awareness for important causes. Beauty pageants provide a unique opportunity to combine my interests and use my voice for good.
SD: What’s in your makeup bag right now?
SH: Tarte shape tape concealer is my go-to! I love the brand tarte especially because they are animal cruelty free and high quality.
SD: What is your vision of success?
SH: My vision is to one day inspire confidence in young women and children whom have a dream. I would love to be a positive role model that can inspire and uplift my community.
SD: If you could give one piece of advice to your 14 year old self, what would it be?
SH: I would tell my young self to be confident and to stay true to myself. Don't let negative opinions or comments effect you.
SD: Who are you most inspired by in the Pageant World and why?
SH: One of the most inspiring women in the pageant world is Madeline Elizabeth Delp. She went from being a newly paralysed 10-year-old girl to becoming Miss World USA. She was so determined to reach her dreams she had as a little girl that she competed and won in her wheelchair.
SD: How have beauty pageants impacted your life and your career?
SH: The fundraising that I've been involved with through Miss World has sparked a new drive in me to be the best version of myself. It has inspired me to give back to my community and continue fundraising after the competition.
SD: What is your best beauty secret?
SH: Drinking water, eating lots of fruit and resting when my body needs it!
