My Life With Bipolar - I’m Here To Recover And Make The Most Of My Life

suzanne-dang.jpeg

I had someone mentioned to me the other day that I get paid to recover. I have a package from the NDIS, and through that my exercise physiology classes are all paid for. All my therapy sessions are all paid for as well (They are $200 per session)

She made a good point that most people aren’t as lucky as me - people are working full-time and paying tax as well. Not everyone is lucky as me - I’m on the pension.

I get paid literally to recover.

I think this is a powerful statement.

I have to be active in my scheduling, and exercise regime.

I have to monitor my stress and mood levels.

I have to catch the voices before they become worse.

Basically I have to monitor all my mood, emotions and feelings every day so I can recover.

At my own pace, in my own time.

It’s all part of my recovery, and I want to make the most of my life.
