It is run by Lyn Shadbolt and her team who are really lovely people. What I like about it the most is the many Asian contestants as most pageants I've come across are usually Caucasians.

I have always been a tomboy since childhood and I've realised it's important to express my feminine side and learn how to dress properly and do my makeup.

SD: What’s in your makeup bag right now?

Foundation, primer, concealer, blush, eyeshadow, mascara, eye-liner, eyebrow pencil, lipstick.

SD: What is your vision of success?

Work hard, never give up, understand what I need to improve on, network with others.

SD: If you could give one piece of advice to your 14 year old self, what would it be?

Follow my dreams and ignore discouraging comments from other people.

SD: Who are you most inspired by in the Pageant World and why?

Pageant coaches and organisers and other contestants as they make these events happen.

SD: How have beauty pageants impacted your life and your career?

It has helped me learn a lot and grow myself. The skills I've developed have been really beneficial to my modelling career.
