To The Bipolar Girl Who Never Lost Her Smile Pt II

suzanne-dang.jpeg

Dear Suzanne,

You just turned 30 years old.

And you only have one birthday wish, and that is for all your loved ones to be ‘healthy’ and ‘happy’.

You also want to learn more about yourself.

In your thirties.

You pray to God that you won’t compare yourself to others.

That you’ll move past jealousy.

That you’ll forgive more when it comes to others.

But also forgiving yourself.

Especially when you don’t understand everything.

That you don’t understand the complexities of life.

One day you will learn more than you know.

You still have a long journey that you look forward to.

In understanding your mental health recovery.

Understanding more about your Bipolar and how it affects your daily living.

But you especially won’t lose hope.

You hold onto hope.

And never let go.

Never give up.

From Suzanne
