My Weight Loss and Gain Journey Pt III
Throughout the years, even though I may have “transformed”, there’s one vital thing I learnt about weight gain and weight loss…. and that is - Love Who You Are.
Embrace the changes, and remember there’s no “perfect” body size.
Sometimes I challenge my own thoughts and self-talk I tell myself - I see many girls on Instagram with “amazing bodies” and I start comparing that they have better bodies than me.
But that’s not true.
Everyone’s body are different.
And we just have to accept who we are.
But of course, if you want to lose weight for health, you’re more than welcome to do it.
But not to the point that you’re self-sabotaging.
On the topic about medications and weight gain too - I have tried many antidepressants and antipsychotics in the past and not only my health is affected, but my weight too.
Many of these medications makes you gain weight.
I remember adding 10kg in two week’s time from taking these medications.
And as we all know, it is hard to lose it all.
Sure, I love myself but I also embrace change and learn to accept what I have too.
