Dating A Girl With A Mental Illness Part IV

suzanne-dang.jpeg

You don’t know how much your words give her hope that someone truly accepts her for who she is.

You don’t know how much the words, “Your past is the past. I want to know who you are today.” means to her.

You give her hope that someone actually cares about her.

You give her support not just emotionally, but mentally as well.

You allow her to be herself, even in the most vulnerable times.

You give your shoulder to cry on when she is weak.

You love her for who she is, not who she’s not.

You understand and you help her grow emotionally and mentally.

You don’t know how much your words mean to her at times.

You make her feel whole and loved.

You love her, and she loves you too.
